Switzerland Rheinfall
The Rhine Falls, formerly also called Grosser Laufen, is one of the three largest waterfalls in Europe, along with Sarpsfossen in Norway, which is the same height.
The Rhine Falls are located in Switzerland in the area of the municipalities of Neuhausen am Rheinfall in the canton of Schaffhausen (right bank) and Laufen-Uhwiesen in the canton of Zurich (left bank), about four kilometers southwest below the city of Schaffhausen.
