Switzerland Mountain Railway to Mürren

A small mountain railway runs between the Grütschalp mountain station (1486 m) and the mountain village of Mürren (1640 m), far above the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Instead of taking the railway, however, it is advisable to hike this route, as you have a magnificent view of the famous Jungfrau massif.

Travel Information

There is an (expensive) multi-storey car park right next to Lauterbrunnen station. From there, a short cable car takes you up to Grütschalp.
