High mountain landscape with easy access by cable car. In winter it can be combined with a skiing day winter, in summer best with an early sunrise ticket or with a bivouac on the Rothorn summit.

Versatile spot in summer and winter for sunrises and sunsets, mountain scenes and drone shots. 360 degree spot with many possibilities. For more distant mountains you need a telephoto lens from 300mm upwards.
Travel Information
In August and September there are "Rothhorn Sunrise" events on Sundays. The cable car departs at around 5am and after taking photos you can eat breakfast in the restaurant at the mountain station. Special tickets and information at arosalenzerheide.ch. Warm clothes, gloves and mountain boots recommended.
