The Jöri lakes are a group of mountain lakes to the east of Davos near the Flüela Pass. They are located at around 2500 metres above sea level. Best at sunrise or sunset.

Photography Tips

Good with a wide angle lens or a drone. In summer it gets busy with hikers during the day.

Travel Information

Wägerhus or Wägerhüttä is the closest parking space and bus station. There is a lovely circular hike starting from Wägerhus via Winterlücke and Jöriflüelafurgga and back to Wägerhus. With a backpack it takes around 2 hours to walk to the photo spot . Bring good hiking shoes and a headlamp. It is not a very difficult or alpine hike but if it is dark or the ground gets slippery it may get demanding for inexperienced mountain hikers.
