Chalberstöckli is East of Klingenstock, so you avoid the crowds along the Stoos ridge walk. The views from here are no less impressive, especially towards the Glarus alps (where the sun rises in the summer months).

Travel Information

From Stoos hike towards Klingenstock and 100m (altitude) before you reach the peak turn off to the East. Chalberstöckli is the first peak you‘ll reach (after a rather rough climb). There are no signs.
