Switzerland Blausee Lake

Blausee lake is a beautiful lake with clear blue waters in a beech. The contrast of the autumn colors or the snow against the clear blue water is amazing. It's a fairy tale place where you will see a lot of spots to take photos!

Photography Tips

Try to avoid going on weekends as it gets a bit crowded. A part from that, maybe sunrise and sunset are the best hours, but I went at 2pm in a partially cloudy day and the light was awesome as well. A tripod, and a polarizing filter are recommended.

Travel Information

Very easy access by car, as there is a parking at the entrance and only a few minutes of easy walking will take you there. To enter to the lake, you have to pay a ticket fee. In 2024, the entrance fare at weekends and summer was 13CHF at 2024.
