Between Entlebuch and Wolhusen the Emmenuferweg has pretty wild and picturesque sections. All-in-all the hiking trail covers roughly 55 km but you can also just do one section thanks to decent public transport.

We parked in Wolhusen, took the train to Schüpfheim and walked back (roughly 4 hours)
