Switzerland Caumasee
The colors of the water. Seriously, check the colors of the water! Maybe you already saw some pictures of this lake and thought: "well done mr. photoshop!". Nope, no photoshop, no visual tricks of any kind, these colors are for real!
Photography Tips
#1: Plan your trip according to the position of the sun! These blue and green colors are only visible, when the sun is (nearly) opposite of you (check image 1+2 vs. image 3).
#2: during summer, the lake is the number #1 bathing place in the region, so I'd suggest visiting it in autumn/winter.
If you come in summer make sure you‘re early. The place gets packed late morning. As of late June, there is a hefty entrance fee to the swimming area where the nice beaches/good photo spots are.

Travel Information
You can reach the lake either by public transports or with the car. There are two (not that huge) parking places nearby. From the parking place it's a short walk of ~10 minutes and there's even a lift for people with impairments / disabilities.
Note: if you want to take the lift, check the opening times of the restaurant (it only operates when the restaurant is open).
