It's a pretty awesome looking monument in Vevey. Located right next to the shore along the Vevey promenade it makes for an interesting photo with Alps in the background.

Photography Tips

Try to get here in the calm weather to capture the reflection. Otherwise you can use ND and polarizer filters to smoothen the water.

Travel Information

We got there by train. It's a 10 minute walk from the Vevey train station. If you're staying in a hotel in Montreux, you'll get a free bus card and can use the bus to get from Montreux to Vevey. The location is right in the city, so there's certainly a parking lot somewhere nearby.
