Switzerland Affenschlucht, Winterthur-Wülflingen
The Affenschlucht (the source of the name is unknown) is a part of the Töss at one end of Winterthur. At any time and season, you'll be rewarded with a very special structure which has been rinsed by the river.
Photography Tips
During the warmer days get there as early as possible. This place is a very popular bathing place and as such can be crowded during the day.
Travel Information
There's very small parking (for max 3/4 cars). I'd suggest taking the bus to the terminal station of line 2 (Wülflingen) and walking from there. The descent to the Affenschlucht is a bit hidden in the bushes, watch out for a small entrance and wooden stairs.
There is another parking if you drive past the spot towards Pfungen and after approximately 100 - 200 m turn into the Hardgutstrasse and take the next right. There are several possibilities to park your car along the small forest.
