Taiwan Pengwankuahai Bridge
Dapeng Bay is a lagoon in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. It is the largest lagoon on the southwest coastline of Taiwan Island. The Dapeng Bay Bridge, inaugurated in March 2011, is the most beautiful and unique landmark of Dapeng Bay. Spanning across the outlet, it is the one and only flexible suspension bridge set for sea traffic.
The bridge can be appreciated from three perspectives, which is different from most traditional bridges. From the front, it looks like a giant bird. From the side, it resembles a sail. From the hind, it looks like the English letter of A. The rainbow light show start every day for several hours.
