This market is superb for eating Thaifood. The prices are incomparable cheap but the quality is really, really good. There are other markets like the Chatuchak Market to the north which is not too far away. Please note, Or Tor Kor is an indoor market (not open air) which is perfect for a sudden rain shower. This is NOT a touristic market that sells any kind of stuff you anyhow won't need.

As always, the golden rule for riding a taxi in Bangkok. Do not enter a taxi if the driver refuses to operate the taxi meter!!!
Unfortunately only 1 of 5 did turn on the taxi meter. All others tried to press money out of tourists which gets very frustrating if you are dependent on a taxi to bring you to your destiantion(s).
