Wat Phanan Choeng is an active buddhistic temple in Ayutthaya, central Thailand (about 2 hours north of Bangkok).
The main attraction is a 19m high statue of a sitting buddha. The temple and the statue were constructed in 14th century and so this statue is one of the oldest in whole Thailand.

Photography Tips

As the statue is really big, be sure to bring a wide angle lens. You'll have to use a high ISO, as there is only poor light in the temple and a tripod is not allowed.
