Thailand Bangkok - Wat Arun
The famous Wat Arun Temple in Bangkok.
Photography Tips
To get a slightly different viewpoint, go to one of the small restaurants and ask to sit on the edge of the water (often in their kitchen).
At sunset, the lights around the temple will turn on.
There are numerous photo spots on the opposite side of the river, but I recommend 'Wat Pho Pier' (ท่าเรือวัดโพธิ์)
You should bring your tripod to take clear long-exposure photos at night.

Travel Information
The easiest way to get there is either by tuk-tuk or taxi, but there is a water taxi line and some (mini)buses that service the area as well.
Renting a scooter is always a good alternative in Thailand.
You can also take the Bangkok subway 'MRT' and take off at 'Sanam Chai'(สนามไชย) station. It will take about 10 minutes to walk from the station.
