Tunisia Ksar El Mourabitine, Tunisia

Ksar Mrabtine is a historical site located in the Tataouine governorate of Tunisia. Positioned on a rocky promontory, the ksar features the mausoleum of Sidi Abdallah Dhouib, a fortress (kalâa), and a mosque in close proximity. Estimated to be around 700-800 years old, with some sections dating back to approximately 1800, the site has been proposed by the Tunisian government for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage list as of January 10, 2020. The ksar comprises 180 ghorfas, mostly spanning three to four floors, and according to Abdesmad Zaïed, there are references to five floors as of 1992. Noteworthy architectural elements include external staircases for accessing different levels and wooden hooks used for hoisting goods into the ghorfas. The complex underwent restoration in 2008, led by the National Heritage Institute.

For shooting inside a wide angle might be appropriate. A drone brings a different beautiful perspective.

It's not easy to get there and by car it's nearly impossible. Even a 4x4 will struggle a bit, if you are not used to such tough tracks. Walking up takes approx. 20-30 minutes.
