Mos Espa, situated on the desert planet Tatooine in the Star Wars universe, is a spaceport settlement controlled by the Hutt Clan and Jabba's criminal empire. The city features various commercial and entertainment venues, including the renowned Mos Espa Grand Arena, famous for hosting the Boonta Eve Classic podrace. Mos Espa has a historical connection with Queen Amidala's visit and the discovery of Anakin Skywalker, who later became a Jedi. The city is prominently featured in Star Wars films such as "The Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones." In recent events around 9 ABY, Mok Shaiz served as the mayor, and tensions and tributes arose between him and Boba Fett, who had taken control of Jabba's criminal empire. The real-world filming location for Mos Espa was near Tozeur in Tunisia, utilizing the impressive desert landscape for multiple Star Wars films, including the Original Trilogy.

Every 30 mins or so, tourists are coming and flooding the area, so be patient, because after a while Mos Espa empties and gives you all the possibilities to make some nice shootings.
