Turkey (Türkiye) Historic German Fountain, Istanbul
In between Hagie Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The German Fountain is a gazebo-styled fountain at the northern end of the old Hippodrome, Istanbul in Turkey, and across from the Mausoleum of Sultan Ahmed I. It was constructed to commemorate the second anniversary of German Emperor Wilhelm II's visit to Istanbul in 1898.
Architectural style: Byzantine Revival architecture.
The area is full of amazing historical scenes - restaurants in the daytime,
this fountain providing cold water to refresh yourself during your walks across the Old Town.

I shot This beautiful fountain with 8 columns at one end of the Hippodrome, using my 14/24mm to have this wide scene of the amazing arches and ceiling.
