Turkey (Türkiye) Burj Al Babas Mudurnu, Abandoned Place
Burj Al Babas is a real estate development located in Mudurnu, Turkey. It was designed as a luxury housing project with a unique and extravagant concept. The development consists of hundreds of chateau-style villas, each resembling a miniature French castle. The project aimed to attract wealthy investors from around the world, offering them luxurious and opulent living spaces.
However, despite its grand vision and potential, Burj Al Babas faced financial difficulties during its construction. The global economic downturn and other factors led to the project's downfall, resulting in bankruptcy for the developer. As a result, many of the villas remained unfinished and abandoned, giving rise to a surreal and eerie landscape of empty chateau facades.
The once-promising and opulent Burj Al Babas became a symbol of a failed ambition, and the unfinished structures have drawn attention from photographers, urban explorers, and curious visitors alike. The development stands as a reminder of the unpredictability of the real estate market and the consequences of ambitious ventures without solid financial backing.

Photography Tips
Bring a drone, but be careful:
Drone flying IS allowed, outside of this place with a good distance. Once you come too close, guards will barrier the road and won't let you pass. They might ask you to show and probably delete the shots.
For a few bucks you also can get inside.
When coming from the north there's a small lot with a water source. Here you can get some decent shots.
If you drive further and pass this parcel, and when it's going uphill, there's another viewpoint on the left. This place is good for getting your drone up.
But as I said: it is guarded, so keep your distance.
