This is one of the top 5 spots in Downtown Dubai I would say. The views you get from the upper floor apartments in the Damac Maison Distinction are some of the best. I use this location for my own photography workshops frequently, I can take clients to this place for 1 night and we can shoot sunset through blue hour and in the morning sunrise. The prices are very affordable for Downtown Dubai and the views worth it every time. Especially the comfort of shooting from the balcony of your living room, which you get in those 2 bedroom apartments with 2 bedrooms and the living room all connecting to a long balcony with around 180 degree field of view. If you are a time-lapser you can pretty much shoot a whole cityscape timelapse movie from one balcony, compositions are endless and if you carry a Tele lens the world is yours. I made a whole time-lapse with a private workshop client in 2 days shooting from 2 balconies in Dubai, one in Downtown one in the Marina (which I have some spots for in here as well)

Book a room in the upper third of the hotel, make sure its facing the Burj Khalifa, other than that the location is super easy and as mentioned very good for hosting workshops. you can book one night only or more nights if you are willing to wait to catch the perfect sunrise or sunset, which is rare in Dubai, good sunsets only happen now and then in winter and fall (colorful sunsets) because of the mainly cloud free skies almost all year round.
