United Kingdom Harris Salt Marshes
Marsh in idyllic surroundings on the scenic isle of Harris. This is all about the amazing lines created by the small streams that dissect the marsh and the marsh grass islands that have fantastic textures.
Photography Tips
Bring wellies so you can get into the Marsh, unless you like wet feet, and choose a good composition. Sunset is best, although sunrise lights up the mountain better, but the sun is behind you making shadows a concern (Thanks for the heads up on this Paul Constance).
Travel Information
Head for Northton on the A859. There is a parking spot but you have to walk back to the marsh about a 0.75 KM. Please don't park in the passing places!
