The Shard, also known as Shard London Bridge, is a striking skyscraper in Southwark, London. At a height of 309.6 meters, it is the tallest building in the United Kingdom and a prominent feature of the London skyline. The Shard in London offers a wealth of opportunities for photographers as it combines stunning architecture with breathtaking views of the city. This view is within the More London Place development. An interesting juxtaposition between the shard and the sculpture caught my eye and a black and white treatment adds drama.

Photography Tips

The best time to photograph The Shard is during the golden and blue hour, as the light is softer and more dynamic. The blue hour in particular offers a beautiful contrast between the deep blue sky and the lights of the city.
