Part of Manchester's Heritage, this is near the Duke's Tunnel in the canal, portraing the Grocer's Warehouse in the left with the Grocer's Footbridge and it's reflection in contrast with the new buildings in the right.

Photography Tips

Either go very early for the sunrise or late-ish for the sunset. Bring a tripod and some neutral density filters for smoothing out the water (and the reflection).

This is a very transited area so even at those times you'll find a lot of people getting into the shot.

Travel Information

Castlefield tram stop and train station are nearby, like less than 5 minutes away by foot. If driving you can get with your car right into the actual spot, as this is shot from the car park.
