United Kingdom Herrington Country Park
Herrington Country Park near Sunderland in the north east of England is aa area that was once a coal mine but has now been transformed into a well used park by locals and visitors to the city of Sunderland. its large grassed areas are regularly used for large and small events like pop concerts and dog walking events. With loads of photographic opportunities its a great place to spend a few hours.

In the morning you can often find a thick mist hanging over the water making it very atmospheric. Its great for a sunset too as it is reflected in the often still waters of the lakes.
