United Kingdom Dunlace Castle sunset County Antrim Northen Ireland
This castle is a ruin and was built in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 17th Century. It is open to the public for a fee of 5 pound. It is located quite close to the Giant Causeway. The issue now is that you cannot go down onto the beach to shoot the castle as the authorities have closed off that option. To get the best angle you need to venture through a farmers paddock to the edge however the authorities from the castle are not too happy with that and were harassing us while we were there. The cliff is quite steep so you will need to take care if you go for this option!
Photography Tips
You can shoot from the road but will need a strong lens however the angle is not right. Sunset is definitely the best time to shoot!
Travel Information
It is a 6 minute drive from Bushmans and 10 minutes from the Giants Causeway parking is a problem with very limited parking and it was a problem even in late Oct
