United Kingdom Liverpool Skyline
A nice spot on the opposite side of the River Mersey to shoot the skyline of Liverpool. It lends itself to long exposure to blur the water and streak the clouds. I shot this at dusk in the blue hour and that worked well for me.
Photography Tips
Pretty typical across-the-river composition. The spot where you shoot from is a wide path with few people around so you won't be bothered and it's easy to use a tripod here. Blue hour worked best for me.
Travel Information
Assuming you're staying in Liverpool, getting here is easy, you can just take the ferry across the Mersey which is cheap and convenient. Getting back is much more inconvenient if you're hanging around for sunset because the last ferry is at 6:30 pm. I just missed that ferry whilst trying to get the best out of the blue hour, and ended up walking for ages to find a spot where I could pick up an Uber, which took 20 minutes to arrive. If you're looking to do this spot at sunset, plan for your return journey.
