United Kingdom Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye
The Old Man Of Storr might be the most famous attraction on the Isle of Skye and is definitively a must-see. The hike is nice and not too difficult. The walk itself from the car park (up and down) covers a distance of nearly 4 km and is in good shape. There are always a lot of people so you should visit this spot in the evening when all the tourists already have left for dinner in town. I arrived there around 8 o'clock and met 5 other hikers.
If you go there in the summer months the sunset is after 10 o'clock so you have enough time for hiking and shooting.

Photography Tips
You should carry a tripod as it can be windy up there. Get there early. Can be busy. We rose at 3.00am, drove 30 minutes, walked/scrambled up 900 feet and had a total round trip hike of about 4 miles. Winds can be strong when you get up there.
