United Kingdom Crumlin Road Gaol
The „Crum“ in Northern Belfast is a victorian prison with a 150 year history. It was shut in 1996 given its poor standards compared to the more modern prisons. It is now a museum you can visit.
Photography Tips
Get familiar with the place before you go there and make sure you are the first guest to reach the north wings when you‘re on a tour, so you can compose your picture with no tourists on it. During the tour you‘ll hear interesting facts about former inmates, some of which you might know.
