United Kingdom London view from Sky Garden, London
Panoramic views of London from Sky Garden at the top of the Walkie-Talkie Tower.
As a photographer's venue, its great but it does have issues:
- reflections off the window glass are a problem. In some locations, it is possible to get close to the glass and position yourself between the glass and the source of the light, but not always. A polarising filter doesn't help.
- the whole of the side facing The Gherkin, The Cheesegrated and The Scalpel, has bench several metres deep with "Do not stand here" every few metres.
- the Thames is never blue but if there has been a lot of rain in the days before your visit, it can look rather muddy.

Travel Information
It’s easy to get to the Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch Street. In the centre of the City of London, Monument is the closest tube station, just a few minutes walk away, and Tower Hill, Tower Gate, Aldgate, Bank and Mansion House are less than a 10-minute walk.
You can get free, timed, admission tickets via the web site for the venue. Alternatively, you can join the "walk in" queue, which can appear dauntingly long but moves fairly quickly. There is an equally long queue for the elevator on the roof-top to return to street level.
Give yourself an hour here.
