United Kingdom St Cwyfan's Church, Llangwyfan, Wales
St Cwyfan's Church, Llangwyfan is popularly known as the Church in the sea. It is a small tidal Island with the church dating back to the 12th Century. Due to erosion and tidal increases the sea wall was built in 1893.
Photography Tips
This was taken from the shore with a 100-400 lens to give the impression that it is surrounded by the sea.
Travel Information
To get to the location was a little tricky as Google maps as it took me to Anglesey Circuit car race track which is very close to the spot. There is a walk from just up the road from the racetrack or you can go back to Aberffraw at the pub turn right and follow a very winding road to the end of the road park [limited but free parking] and walk along the beach to the spot.
