United Kingdom Leeds Castle
Leeds Castle is an impressive castle in Kent, England, 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Maidstone. It is built on islands in a lake formed by the River Len to the east of the village of Leeds. The present castle dates mostly from the 19th century. It has been open to the public since 1976.
Photography Tips
Golden hour worked best for me. Bring a wide-angle lens. There are multiple spots around the castle to take great shots.
Travel Information
If you come for a golden hour shot you can park for free at St. Nicholas Church in Leeds and follow the marked "right of way" footpath behind the cemetery and the meadows to the castle without paying and even after the official closing hours of the castle.
