United Kingdom Castle Combe
Castle Combe is a village and civil parish in Wiltshire, England, about 5 miles (8 km) northwest of the town of Chippenham. The picturesque village with the iconic view across the bridge is what you might want to consider an archetype of postcard subject or a cover motive for a medieval village motion picture.
Photography Tips
Bring a wide-angle lens (and a drone, if at hand) and don't be afraid to take off your shoes and wade in the stream for best results.
Travel Information
There are very few parking bays right beside the bridge and the public toilets. However, it's easy to park along the street Northeast of the village. It's also a nice walk across the market place where you can pick up a home-baked cake for a couple of Pounds.
