United Kingdom (Upper) Plodda Falls
Lovely spot for a short hike. Combines interesting photo opportunities nicely with amazing scenery to walk around in. Go here in autumn or, for experienced hikers, in snowy winters for high-contrast abstract nature shots.
Photography Tips
Mount a longer lens in this area and focus on interesting intimate landscapes. Many patterns and abstract photo opportunities. Oh, and bring a tripod and turn off optical stabilizers when mounted on a tripod, as these will mess up otherwise stable shots.
Travel Information
Parking is available close-by, but the road up there is a bit perilous, particularly in wet conditions. All-wheel drive is recommended; not necessary. (We took a campervan up the hill without problems). Take food and drinks, but do take the litter back with you!!!
