United Kingdom Wreck of SS Nornen off Berrow Beach
The wreck is at quite a distance from the high water mark. Just the ribs are left of this ship which was blown aground in March 1897. Despite the storm, all the crew and their dog were safely taken off by the RNLI lifeboat.
Photography Tips
Consider the 40 minute walk southwards to visit the Low Lighthouse (see my other post). Make sure you know the tide times and be very vigilant as the sea comes in very quickly and can often curl around behind you cutting you off. Mind you don't get stuck in the mud!
