There is a promenade walk along part of the beach, with metal railings that provide nice opportunities for long exposure photography. Please note that at high tide, the walkway is completely covered with water.

Photography Tips

Best photo opportunities are at high tide, check times beforehand. Be careful if the tide is coming in, or you will get wet! Bring a tripod and some neutral density filters to get nice long exposure minimalist photos. For best results, have your tripod in the water, and bring camera with a standard zoom or wide angle lens. Make sure you are wearing Wellington boots.

Hi Alona, thanks for your comment. The water is not very deep, just a few inches/centimetres, but it will depend on the size and weight of your tripod, and length of the exposure. Best thing to do is take a few photos, then pick the best!

thanks for the quick response, last question, is there a place to put your camera bag or you have to carry it on your back to the water?

Unless you are with a friend who could hold the camera bag, you will need to carry your bag with you. Also, make sure to bring some wellington boots, and I would also suggest wearing waterproof overtrousers over your jeans and boots. For safety reasons, its probably best to do photography when the tide is going out.
