United Kingdom North Downs Way through Horse Shaw Wood

The North Downs Way is a long distance walk which gets interesting through this wood in spring, with displays of white wild garlic and some bluebells. In this area the walk goes through a twisted (goblin forest feeling) hawthorn wood which looks very interesting for photography, but has become my target for finding an image that represents the feeling of walking there. Must get fog or mist to get that feel, one day.

The nearest car park (gangers hill car park) is about 1 mile/1.6 km to the north east from the spot marked here. This spot is where you enter the North Downs Way portion of the wood, the photo direction marker gives the direction to walk for the wood.
