Eilean Donan Castle is one of the most famous spots in Scotland, nearly every tourist and surely every photographer will be here while he is in Scotland. The castle lies directly on the main road of Loch Alsh. The castle itself lies on a small island, there are many viewpoints with different perspectives around the castle. Beautiful old castle with a nice landscape surrounding it.

Try to avoid the gras in the front of my picture. It's not that pretty and can be avoided with a different angle or focal lengh.

Travel Information
The castle is very easy to find and lies just on the main road around Loch Alsh. There is a big parking lot, you have to pay an entrance fee to get into the castle. You have to pay to get into the castle. The outside is free. There is a restaurant and toilets too.
