I think there is an error with this post. The label says "Benbeculla" but the spot is located on the southern tip of South Uist, a different island. The island of Benbecula is about 35km to the north. (I don't know which is the location of the photo.) David Briers

Hi David Sorry -I don't know how it has pinned in the wrong location..??,,Its actually very close to Eriskay Ferry Terminal . Thank you for pointing this out David and I will try to update / edit the post to endeavour to change the location. Once again sorry best wishes chris

No worries David - you will enjoy it. Uist is quite flat but there are some good spots around ( hardly any shops - so bring a wee bag of supplies with you)... There are a few nice spots next to this image ,,, a lovely beach about 15 mins away on foot. Hope you have a lovely holiday and I look forward to seeing your images on Location Scout...:-).. Chris, I don't believe this! I was born in Chorley and brought up in Coppull. My mother was from Appley Bridge, where some of my relatives still live. (We now live in Pembrokeshire.) Small world!!

wow a very small world indeed David ,,, I lived on Hall lane, just past the Hospital - walking distance to the Dickinson arms at the top of Appley lane North ( believe it is now an Italian restaurant ) ,,, I know Chorley quite well,, a friend used to live in Withnell ,,, we used to go walking around the white coppice area ,,,, small world indeed!!,,,
