United Kingdom Latchmore Brook, New Forest
Latchmore Brook is a beautiful area of the New Forest National Park and very typical of the area, a mix of woodland and heathland with a small stream flowing through a gentle valley. This image is taken from the higher ground very close to the car park at the village of Frogham, looking SE with the stream in the mid-ground and the wooded area of Hasley Inclosure on the horizon. Shot at 86mm.
Photography Tips
There are lots of compositions to be made in this area, telephoto landscapes from the high ground or wideangle shots from down by the stream. Some of the ground is marshy so do be aware of changing conditions underfoot.
