United Kingdom Fyrish Monument
Fyrish Monument is a monument built in 1782 on Fyrish Hill, in Fyrish in Evanton, near Alness, Easter Ross, Scotland. Views from the top of the hill take in the Cromarty Firth.
Photography Tips
Sunrise or sunset would be good although it’s a 2 mile up hill walk through woods to get to the summit so would need a torch. I went on a hot sunny day and should have taken water. In the end my dog decided the best way to cool off was to jump in a peat bog!
Travel Information
There is a dedicated car park on the road from Alness to Boath.
