United Kingdom Danebury Ring
Danebury Ring is the site of an Iron Age hillfort in the Hampshire countryside near to the small town of Stockbridge. It offers wide views across the Test Valley and surrounding farmland to the east (the western view is largely blocked by trees)
Photography Tips
The surrounding countryside is pretty but not spectacular, Danebury is at its best at either end of the day when there is interest in the sky. Then the huge panoramic views really come to life!
Travel Information
This is a popular walking and picnic spot, it can be busy during the day but is quiet at sunrise/sunset and access is 24 hrs. There is plenty of free car parking either at the base of the hill and a 2nd car park slightly higher up so a very easy spot to access.
