United Kingdom East end of Loch Arklet
A scenic location where Loch Arklet is sandwiched between Loch Katrine and Loch Lomond in The Loch Lomond and Trassachs National Park.
Photography Tips
Can be photographed at any time or season but best captured with dramatic lighting & ideally with snow on the surrounding hills. Shooting from the east may need a graduated filter when the sun is setting in the west in the evening.
Travel Information
From Aberfoyle take the B829 and after passing Loch Ard then Loch Chon, (also scenic locations), Loch Arklet is clearly visible a short distance before the T-junction to Stronachlachar or Inversnaid. No official parking but there are plenty of places to park on this quiet road.
