United Kingdom Dunnottar castle
The Dunnottar castle is settled on a rock formation surrounded by the ocean. It's a pretty unique spot to have a castle this size. You can discover the ruins during the day.
Photography Tips
I used my drone in the early morning. A sign at the parking lot says: you can use the drone when the castle tours don't take place (which is not before a10am). Therefore an easy spot for a good morning flight. I got pretty lucky with the clouds this day and used them as a frame to cover the fields and buildings you would normally see behind the castle's parking lot.
Travel Information
The parking lot is nearby and free of charge. They have a food truck there and it's just a few minutes by foot to reach the viewpoints. If you wish to explore the castle you would have to walk downstairs and back up.
