United Kingdom At the Dunnottar Castle, Stonehaven
Dunnottar Castle is a ruined medieval fortress built on a rocky headland in north east Scotland about 3kms south of Stonehaven.
Photography Tips
Although I wasn't able to be there in the morning, I think this would be an ideal time as the castle would be lit up with the warm glow of the early sun.
Similarly, sunset would provide dramatic light to silhouette the castle's outline.

Travel Information
Car is the only way I know of to get here. Check the Stonehaven tourist information to see if there are buses. It is not very well signposted so check its location on a map before arriving.
