United Kingdom Pistyll Gwyn
Amidst the gravel trails of the plains leading up to the Rhinogydd mountains is this incredible waterfall. Its intensity and roar fluctuates according to the rainfall on the mountains above it, with the water well filtered by upland heath and boggy grassland. Despite its yellow-brown colour suggesting otherwise, the water has been tested as safe to drink and supplies the local smallholdings.
Photography Tips
It’s possible to scramble down to the water’s edge.
