United Kingdom Cromer Beach, Norfolk.
Located just off to the right of Cromer Pier. I love this spot. However if you’re using a tripod please invest in some snow shoes to spread your kit weight and maybe flick the lens into stabilisation mode due to moving soft sand.
Photography Tips
Always go at low tide, check for wind speeds and scattered showers. Don’t leave your kit unattended because winds can pick up blowing tripods over. Always ensure you’re mindful of incoming tide times. Go early and when the kids are at school. If you want a higher elevation, travel towards the high ground to the right of the pier.
Travel Information
Easy to access via train from Norwich to Cromer. The beach is a 20-minute walk if that from Cromer station. Trains leave every hour rather than every half hour. I tend to take my bike on the train. It gives me more freedom over cars. And it makes for a great day out.
