This shot was taken just off of Castle Rising Carpark. Castle Rising is a medieval 12th century castle; one of the most famous castles in England to be precise.

Photography Tips

There’s currently no drones allowed on the grounds. Visitors also have to pay a fee for entering. Light sunny days with broken cloud is best for filtered drone photography and enhanced visibility. All English Heritage sites have a no drone policy but, this doesn’t extend to grounds not owned by them.

Travel Information

The castle can be accessed by car or train to Kings Lynn. I went by car and walked around during Covid lockdowns.
