This shot was taken at a 500-600ft altitude to avoid detection of gulls that often fly into the drone. The spot I lifted from was around 300 meters to the left of the pier away from magnetic interference.

Photography Tips

Avoid windy days. Fly high to avoid gulls. Try to get some shots of the local RNLI practicing in the area. I’ve tried for years but always miss them. They usually practice on a Sunday. This would make for excellent viewing.

Parking is available as is bed and breakfasts. The local beach can be accessed by foot or bike.
