Photography Tips
While permission is needed to shoot on the grounds it’s also unlikely to be granted. Therefore, photographers can hire a cruiser boat and make their way from Wroxham to Hunsett which is around 30 minutes sailing if that. It’s easy to do. I’ve done it many a times. This photo was taken on the grounds of which at the time I didn’t know I needed permission. The owners have (in my opinion) illegally taken charge of the public footpath leading to and around the mill for money purposes which is unfair in my view. That said it’s a great place and the area is incredibly beautiful come sunrise and sunset. Winter time is even more gorgeous. Unfortunately there’s not many recent professional photos of the mill online due to the owner removing all access to the public. No boat mooring is allowed on the grounds either. Therefore if you’re able to hire a boat you’ll need to slow your vessel down and prep for some decent shots because you’ll only get one go at it before passing by the mill.
