United Kingdom Old Harry Rocks
Old Harry is an English name for the devil. This striking rock formation is located on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, England, at the tip of the Isle of Purbeck peninsula, south of Bournemouth and north of Swanage. In this section of the coast, the cliffs are made of chalk, creating a vibrant contrast to the green landscape and blue sea. From the air, this coast is a real eye-catcher. The shape of the coast is reminiscent of a biscuit that a giant has nibbled on. The best time of day for photographers here is early morning. The sun rises on the right of the image, creating an incredible lighting atmosphere.
