This shot was taken at Blackwell Basin on the ColdHarbour side on the concrete windy jetty. It’s a tricky location to find for newbies but worth the hike.

Photography Tips

If you’re shooting in cold weather take gloves and plenty of spare batteries. This location is mostly quiet. There’s little light if any on the jetty. My advice would be to shoot in the daytimes. Take a tripod with a long lens.

Travel Information

Walk to the jetty via Canary Wharf. Parking is available nearby but charges may apply.
